Silent Hill Zwielicht

I wrote a novel. It's called "Silent Hill – Zwielicht", a novel that is based on the Silent Hill universe.

 

It's about a young couple getting seperated from each other. Gordon Cooper, the protagonist, is about to find his girlfriend Anna Mitchel after he finds himself trapped in a mysterious world. Several events occur and leed him to the town of Silent Hill where he gets confronted with harrowing details about Anna and her past. Details, which manifest themselves in the twilight world of Silent Hill. He will also be involved in issues concerning the drug trade, that was mentioned in the first Silent Hill game. Gordon will also get to know informations about the „Holy Mother“ - organization and its connections.

 

Fans of the franchise will discover further relations between characters of other Silent Hill games like Silent Hill 4, especially by giving these characters a deeper meaning, Martin Sein for example.

 

It's not necessary to know the backgrounds of the Silent Hill universe to follow the story, but there is a lot of fan-service put in there, further informations and many clues to put all the puzzle pieces together, even referring to the plots of older Silent Hill games.

 

I can assure you, that the plot holds several unexpected shocking surprises in store, which keep the reader excited until the very end, where everything gets revealed. Prepare for a story that never existed before, neither in a movie nor in a game or book. Several guys who already read the book were knocked out of their socks.

I put so much effort in this longlasting project including years of planning the complex and interwoven story. I even got it printed about 40 times, so you can imagine that I spared neither trouble nor expense to get this project done. 

I even designed the cover by myself. Have a look at it, even if it's written in german.

I have been dreaming (and still do!) about my own story becoming a part of the Silent Hill universe so that everyone can experience it. I put so much effort, time and my heart in this project that I don't even care about earning money. I only want to share my work with the Silent Hill fanbase and want to be a part of the Silent Hill universe, the world that inspired my whole life.

As I finished my work on this novel, I got it printed and sent a book to Konami Europe in Frankfurt. A few weeks later, one of the staff members called me. He told me that he was totally impressed about my work. He even wanted to read it and promised me to write a recommendation, so that the projects future will be discussed and given a chance. But he also told me to be patient. Fanprojects like this often got slight chances to be realised. I was told that Konami in Japan has to decide if it could be supported or not.

6 months later, a female staff member of Konami in England contacted me. She told me that the book and the trailer had been presented there in a conference, where the members indicated their interests. We were talking about recommended editorial offices and I kept telling her that I would even finance the last editing (even if it was edited until that point) and translation by myself. I just wanted it to become true.

Well... that was in december 2014. Whatever the reasons might be, she never answered anymore, although everything seemed promising. Perhaps it has something to do with the reorientation of Konami. As you guys all know many things changed there, So... I decided to get this started by my own, because it's something I have to share with you, I have to make sure that I won't make profit out of this. Silent Hill is still a registered trademark of Konami and this project is not a product rubber-stamped by the management. So... let's see what will happen. If it will turn out problematic for me, I will have to pay the price.

If you should be interested, I can assure you that I won't earn anything. You would only have to pay the production costs. If you're living outside of germany,the price will depend on the shipping costs, postage, packing...

I just want to share my work, that's all.
